Oana Galicki, MD

Dr. Oana Galicki

Interventional Psychiatry

Dr. Galicki is a Board Certified psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders as well as the impact of social, psychological and behavioral factors on general health and quality of life. She has a strong psychopharmacologic background as well as extensive training in other treatment modalities including ketamine/esketamine treatment, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and psychotherapy.

Dr. Galicki is an experienced and empathetic practitioner dedicated to helping her patients understand their mental health conditions and find appropriate treatments. She is humbled to walk the path to wellness with her patients, and help them transform their lives.

Dr. Galicki earned a Medical Degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She completed her general psychiatry residency followed by a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine, at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Medical Center, a training hospital of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City.

Dr. Galicki continued on as a staff psychiatrist at St. Luke-Roosevelt hospital, where she ran the Consult Liaison service, as well as taught and supervised psychiatry residents and fellows. She has also conducted research and published papers on topics including treatment for depression in patients with Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease prevention. After moving to California in 2011, Dr. Galicki provided outpatient psychiatric care to diverse populations in community clinic and private practice settings.

Outside of work, Dr. Galicki enjoys spending time outdoors, reading and attending live concerts. She has a passion for traveling, which allows her to explore new places, meet new people, understand their history and customs. She enjoys living in Los Angeles for the good weather, cultural variety and beautiful beaches.
